What to expect

Engaging with Jesus and each other

(Last updated 20th July 2021)

Things may look at little different for a while as we follow guidelines to keep you safe. A few things to be aware of:

  • Please continue to wear a face covering as you move around the building and during sung congregational worship

  • Spaced seating will be maintained  between pews for the short term (every other pew blocked off)

  • For those requiring socially distanced seating, an allowance has been made

  • Hand sanitisers at various points around the building

  • Tea and Coffee will be held outside (weather permitting)

Staying safe:

Things to know before coming onsite

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our 10:30am service. At St George's the care of the church family and those we come into contact with is incredibly important.

  • If you have been diagnosed with or experienced symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 10 days you must not come to a live service at St George's. Likewise, if you have been in close contact with someone diagnosed or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 please stay at home. In addition, if you have returned from international travel or been in close contact with someone who has returned from international travel in the last 10 days please stay at home and join our service online.

  • Follow the guidance on the NHS website if you think you may be unwell.

  • In line with the Government's COVID-19 Test and Trace programme, contact details for all visitors and service attendees will be taken and held on file for a period of 21 days. Attendee details will only be used, if necessary, in conjunction with the Test and Trace programme and St George's will not process this data for any other purpose.
