COVID- 19 Guidance

Our LIVE 'in person' services take place every ​Sunday.  As restrictions ease, for the short term we are maintaining some COVID safety practices. 

Before coming onsite we ask you to read our guidelines below.

Onsite Guidelines

At St George's the care of the church family and those we come into contact with is incredibly important.  St George's is taking the following appropriate steps to ensure we keep our congregations, voluntary teams, staff and event attendees as safe as possible.

Please read our information below before coming onsite. (Last updated 20th July 2021)

Please do not attend church/ events onsite if:

  • You or those you live with have a recent onset of a new continuous cough, loss of, or change in, normals sense of taste or smell and/or high temperature, click for public health guidance.

  • You are currently in a period of self  or mandated isolation.

St George's Services and Events:

  • Upon arrival and exiting the building, please make use of the hand sanitising products.

  • Please continue to wear a face covering as you move around the building and during sung congregational worship

  • Spaced seating will be maintained  between pews for the short term (every other pew blocked off) 

  • For those requiring socially distanced seating, an allowance has been made

  • Tea and Coffee will be held outside (weather permitting)

  • Please DO NOT ATTEND CHURCH if you are in a period of self or mandated isolation.


Travel Advice

  • If you have recently returned from abroad, or are planning travel, please ensure that you are following all FCO advice.
